Back in March, I went through a period of reading slump. In my March wrap-up post, I mentioned that one way to get me out of reading slumps is by reading cheesy YA/NA books. However, after I tried to list down the books that have successfully gotten me out of it, I realised that it’s not really the case. So here I am, sharing the five books that got me out of reading slumps!
I mentioned in my post about finding new reads that one way of finding new books to read for me is from blogs. There are a lot of books that I decided to read because of the hype surrounding them in the book community or because of the continuous good reviews of the book, both on blogs or Goodreads. So today, I thought I will share with you five series that I decided to read because of the bloggers!
I prefer reading fiction than non-fiction books. I don’t have any specific reason but I have always been way more attracted to fiction. I also never really interested in what people call coffee-table books until very recently; by that, I meant about 12 hours ago. I was reading this post by The Anna Edit and she mentioned a few reads that caught my attention. After several hours of research – and by that I meant blog-hopping, looking for more beauty-related books, I end up with a list of books that I want on my coffee table.
Let’s admit it; the literary world can be very overwhelming with new releases every day. I’m still trying to figure out the ways to catch up with new releases or just finding new reads. So far, I’ve found some methods that work for me in finding new releases or just new books to read and here I am talking all about it!
