Having only released Anything You Can Do in February, I was surprised when R.S Grey announced her new book, The Foxe & The Hound! I know that the book is going to be brilliant and I was lucky enough to get an ARC for this. Thank you, R.S. Grey!
The Foxe & The Hound just grabbed me right in. For me, it’s because of Madeleine. You can’t help but to just love her from the first page where she appeared. She’s the kind of girl that everyone wants to be friends with. She’s hilarious and sarcastic but also kind and unselfish. She’s just delightful to read about. Her witty thoughts successfully made me laugh a few times. Let’s just say I fell in love with her. She was just real and very lovable. Adam Foxe is the new guy in Hamilton. He moved there after a bad break up and all he wanted to figure things out and not be in a relationship yet. There was nothing sweet about their first meeting but it just makes everything more endearing. There was no insta-love here. Sure, there’s chemistry between the two but their relationships really developed slowly. They just can’t stay away from each other – no matter how hard they try and when they decide to stop fighting the attraction, their sweet and romantic side started to come out. I just couldn’t stop smiling while reading it.
The Foxe & the Hound is a light, quirky, and fresh read. You can always trust R.S. Grey to deliver an amazing romcom story! She never disappoints and her stories are always well-written and addicting. Also, this is the funniest R.S Grey’s book to date in my opinion. I just loved and enjoyed reading the book so much. If you are looking for a perfect summer read, The Foxe & The Hound should be on your TBR pile!
